The Artist

Hello, I am Trevor a Freelance Illustrator & Visual Designer. My artistic style is characterized by clean lines, soft and muted color palettes, and textural brush strokes that add a hand-painted feel. focusing on atmospheric and serene outdoor environments, often integrating characters to bring life and narrative to the scenes. Compositions are balanced and thoughtfully arranged, creating a harmonious and tranquil visual experience.

Background

I come from a rich background in action sports. Ever since I was a kid, I spent my days snowboarding and mountain biking in the hills of South Dakota. These passions took me to Utah and Colorado, where I became a downhill mountain bike racer and a snowboard coach.

During times of injury, I would draw and paint, honing my artistic skills. After many years in Colorado, I traded snow for waves and moved to Maui to learn how to surf and work as a whale watch guide. This is where I met my Dutch partner and eventually moved to the Netherlands. Once the corona pandemic hit, I knew it was time to give life to my creativity and started freelancing full-time as an illustrator from 2020.

Current work

I aim to create art that encapsulates the beauty of nature and the spirit of adventure, while also catering to a wide range of other themes and industries. Whether it’s illustrating for an app, designing a logo for a startup, or creating infographics, I bring the same level of passion and creativity to every project.
