Hello there! I’m Trevor.
My journey into illustration began about five years ago, and since then, I’ve been building a career that blends my love for the outdoors with my passion for creativity. Before becoming an illustrator, I spent years exploring different paths—living a life immersed in snowboarding, mountain biking, and surfing. Growing up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the outdoors became a huge part of who I am. That connection to nature continues to inspire much of my work today.
I believe great design and illustration tell stories, solve problems, and inspire action. I want my work to make people feel something. I love creating art that makes you want to step into the moment—to visit a place you’ve never been, or to revisit a memory that feels like home. A lot of what I draw is rooted in a feeling: warmth, dreaminess, adventure. I hope it nudges people to get outside, to explore the natural beauty around us, and to see the world a little more closely.
Today, I run Studio Trev, based in the seaside town of Scheveningen, The Netherlands—known as the surf capital of Northern Europe. When I’m not drawing, you’ll find me spending time with my family, exploring trails on my mountain bike, or chasing waves on my surfboard.
If my work resonates with you or if you have a project in mind that I’d be perfect for, I’d love to hear from you.
