  • I always starts with pencil and paper, as the feel you get can’t be replicated digitally. Once I find a composition I like, I move this sketch into Illustrator or Photoshop. This is where the piece slowly comes to life through a series of brush strokes, gradually bringing in light, shadows, and texture. I like my work to feel as traditional as possible to give it that painted, dreamy feel.

    • What is a Giclée Print?

A Giclée print is a high-quality reproduction using advanced inkjet technology. The term “Giclée” comes from the French word “to spray,” reflecting the precise spraying of ink.

      Why Giclée Prints are Better

      1. High Resolution: Offers superior detail and clarity.

      2. Archival Quality: Uses long-lasting, fade-resistant inks.

      3. Color Accuracy: Provides vibrant, true-to-life colors.

      4. Material Variety: Can be printed on fine art paper, canvas, and more.

      5. Authentic Texture: Replicates the texture and finish of the original artwork.

Giclée prints are an excellent choice for art collectors and enthusiasts who value high-quality, long-lasting reproductions.

  • Wood Materials

Quadrum picture frames are made in Germany from FSC®-certified wood. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. The Oak frames are solid wood from FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer. Available in oak or black.

    Glass materials

The majority of the frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx 45%. For the extra large sizes of A1, 60x80cm and 70x100cm we use a very high quality 3mm clear acrylic to prevent damage during transit. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel.

  • This heavyweight paper has a slightly warm base tone and a strong mottled texture. It creates a print with strong colours and deep blacks that feel rich and high in contrast. This is due to the texture of the paper enabling it to hold more ink and capture the light. The German Etching is one of the heavier weight Giclée art printing papers. With its weight and strong texture this paper gives an artwork a handmade crafted feel. Hahnemüle German Etching is a robust Giclée paper,
